Noreen was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated
from Willamette University in 2005 with a BA in Music, Magna cum Laude and
with Music Department Honors. During her undergraduate at Willamette she
studied piano with Dr. Anita King and voice with Allison Swensen-Mitchell
and Janice Johnson. Other activities include the Ernest Bloch Festival in
Newport, Oregon in June 2004, Chamber Music Workshop in Port Townsend,
Washington in June 2006 hosted by the renowned Cypress String Quartet,
AIMS in Graz Summer 2007, and master classes with Ilya Itin and Wu Han.

Aside from her duties at Willamette, Noreen is an Associate Director and
Accompanist for Willamette Girlchoir in Salem, directed by Caren Jensen.
She is also the General Manager of the Salem Chamber Orchestra, and sings
in the Willamette Master Chorus.
