Rod Ceballos was a recent associate artistic director for the Empty Space Theatre in Seattle, where he directed Accidental Death of an Anarchist, What the Butler Saw, The Empress of Eden and the American professional premiere of Charles Tidler’s Blind Dancers. He has directed plays at Seattle University, Cornish College of the Arts, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, the Chicago Shakespeare Festival, and the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. His teaching experience spans through colleges such as Boise State and the University of California-Davis. Ceballos returns to Willamette University, where he served as the artistic chair and directed productions from 1992-1996. Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been (1992), The Maids (1993), The Rover (1993), Women of Troy (1993), Blood Wedding (1994) The Cherry Orchard (1995), Othello (1995), and Once In A Lifetime (1996).
