



Raissa Fleming ’79 appeared as Cecily in WU’s 1979 production of The Importance of Being Earnest during her senior year at WU when the Kresge Stage was brand new. Fleming’s Portland theatre credits include Jo in Independence for Artists Repertory Theatre, Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs for Portland Repertory Theatre, and Blue in Beirut at Triangle Productions, for which she won a Drammy for best actress in a leading role. She also did the world tour of Three Tall Women as C with Artists Repertory and U.S.I.A. Her film credits include Mean Creek, Nearing Grace, Raising Flag and Foxfire. Television movies include The Valley of Light, Switched at Birth, The Ann and Abby Story, Fifteen and Pregnant, Dead by Sunset, Under Suspicion, Medicine Ball, Terror in the Towers and Promise.
