Set in 1890s England the play focuses on a gentleman who assumes the role of his fictitious brother Ernest in order to enjoy himself in the city without ruining his reputation at his country estate. Mistaken identity drives the hilarity that ensues in the classic tale.

Shakespeare to Go
After last year's success at area high schools, Willamette University Theatre is excited to again offer Shakespeare to Go, a lean, fast and exciting educational outreach program for all ages. See Shakespeare's most popular plays in a fast-paced show that will delight all ages! Suitable for second grade and up, this Shakespeare performed in a simple, innovative, and exciting way, but also learn about Shakespeare's language, theatre and social history.
